Getting over the sickness is wonderful! Aside from a little cough here and there, I'm certainly feeling great. Halloween is around the corner, that sounds like an opportunity to dress up and get totally and utterly carparked. Two things that I have discovered are rapidly becoming my favourites.
University itself is pretty good in places, and laborious in others. I mean, I love to write, I am totally enjoying those aspects, but things, for example, the induction for Audio and Video Skills class, we came in, sat down, the lecturers did a 5 minute introduction, and left us watching a film. A film that, I might add, was only relevant because it was set in a newsroom. This was probably grand if you were in year 8 and couldn't be bothered with the lesson, but when you're paying three grand.. Not really what you're after. Fortunately, these lessons have been better since that.
At any rate, today we learned some useful grammar and punctuation. Never too sure with speech-marks. I finally felt like I had learned something, and Deena's coping when technology fails never ceases to amuse me. Gotta love Powerpoint fails.
Better be wrapping this up about now, since I sold my PS3 to fund my living, I have a bit of cash, so it's time to take Saija, a rather sweet but ill Finnish character, some foodies. I'll probably end up laughing maniacally at one of Jamie and Lloydd's fasion design episodes on the way out.. I can hear the Kings of Leon now.
I be up and off out. Peace.
